Well we made it! 😅 After months of hard work battling against the odds with COVID and finally the gales throughout the festival, we made it happen and it was a huge success. Over the last week we had some brilliant concerts and workshops, in which all performers and participants excelled themselves. Our new venue at Café Velo proved to be a popular addition to our growing family of venues and we will be back there next year.
Our main thanks go out to all the wonderful artists who fought their way to us through the storms and to the dedicated team of volunteers who came out in all weathers. We could not have done it without you – so a BIG Thank you!
Not forgetting, we'd like to say thank you to our dedicated audiences for turning out in the more than seasonal weather. We are a Winter Festival, after all, but it seems Mother Nature herself had decided to test our (and your) endurance to the full!
We could also not have taken on such a risky endeavour in these unsettled times, without our funders and sponsors, so we offer our sincere thanks to them too. It's time now to relax and look forward to 2023 and our 7th festival, which will be held between 15 -19th February.
Put it in your diaries and if you are not already on our mailing list, add your details and we will keep you informed. Over and out for now and until our next news – keep your eyes peeled... 👀
